PM calls for MJF-Nepal to join govt

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has urged the leaders of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF)-Nepal, to join the current government.



The UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai held discussion with MJF-Nepal, Chairman Upendra Yadav at Dahal´s residence in Naya Bazaar on Thursday. [break]



During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the expansion of council of ministers, constitution writing and taking peace process to its logical conclusion, said Prime Minister´s personal assistant Bishow Deep Pandey following the meeting.



PM Bhattarai is positive to provide respectful positions to the leaders of the MJF, Nepal, in the cabinet, confirmed Pandey.



At the meeting Dahal also urged Yadav to join the current government saying that peace and constitution writing process will be completed within the next three month.



"The government is completely determined to serve its responsibilities and I would like to call for MJF, Nepal, to join the government," Panday quoted Prime Minister Bhattarai as saying in the meeting.



Responding to PM´s request Yadav said he will take decision soon by holding discussion with the party leaders.
