He informed that police has already filed a lawsuit in the court to bring him to justice.
Shah, who arrived Ilam on Thursday to acquire information about security situation of the eastern region, directed police administration to work to prevent any injustice meted out against people.
‘Never hesitate to take any action to curb corruption and give people a feeling of good governance’, he ordered.
The senior police officer also urged the entire police force there to work in unison to check criminal activities including rampant price hike, theft and robbery when festivals are round the corner.
The interaction attended by the representatives of Ilam-based various political parties, civil society and journalists dwelt on existing security situation in the district.
