BAGLUNG, Aug 21: Rastriya Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC said on Sunday the formation of consensus government is less likely.

Speaking at a cadres training program organized by the party in Baglung on Sunday, KC said the prospect for a consensus government now has become dim as the major political in the past deviated from the culture of consensus and embraced power-centric politics. [break]

Alleging that Nepali Congress’s current prime ministerial candidate Sher Bahadur Deuba had left the multi-party democracy at the mercy of the then king, KC said it was unlikely for Deuba to get support for his PM bid for now.

KC also said it was largely due to the ‘lack of commitment’ on part of Maoists that caused the ongoing peace and constitution writing processes to lose its momentum.
