KATHMANDU, April 21: Global and Sunrise banks cruised into the quarterfinals of the Inter-bank Volleyball Tournament held at the premises of Nepal Rastra Bank, Thapathali on Tuesday. [break]



Global registered an easy 25-17, 25-11 victory over Siddhartha Bank while Sunrise outplayed Standard Chartered Bank 21-25, 25-17, 15-7.



Similarly, Machhapuchchhre eased past Everest Bank 25-21, 25-22 while Rastriya Banijya Bank beat Blue team of the host Nepal Rastra Bank 25-23, 25-13 in straight sets.
