KATHMANDU, April 29: The coalition of 33 political parties including the CPN-Maoist submitted a memorandum to the Embassy of India here on Monday demanding immediate closure of the Office set up by the Government of India in Biratnagar.

A delegation led by Maoist Vice-chairman CP Gajurel handed over the memo to the Embassy office at Lainchaur today.

The memo submitted today calls for immediate closure of the office set up and run illegally in Biratnagar, said Maoist spokesperson Pampha Bhusal.

Talking to reporters after handing over the memo with signatures of all the 33 party representatives, Vice-chair Gajurel said setting up of the office of strategic importance was an attack to our national independence and warned that India would be in the loosing side if it did not take up the demand seriously.
