About a dozen artists participated and learnt various techniques of the art at the event.
One of the oldest forms of art, it has been around since prehistoric times. During the workshop, the artists were introduced to various international techniques like Raku, naked Raku, reduction firing and oxidation firing.

“Ceramic art is basically an art of clay; even the ceramic cup plates are a form of ceramic art,” said Kalapremi Shrestha.
“It’s been established as a form of art internationally but it’s just been introduced,” Shrestha added.
“I’ve been involved in this field for 25 years, so I’m sharing things I know with the students,” said Shrestha.
Artistes have used clay to shape their creativity in three dimensions for centuries. Shrestha further informed that the exhibition will feature students’ artworks that they have created in the last three months.
