KATHMANDU, May 19: Acting on a tip-off, a team of police has raided in a flat in Chabahil Ganesthan and arrested three people involved in Hundi, the illegal money transfer system.
The arrestees were caught red-handed with Rs 3.48 million in cash. Those arrested include Sunil Rai, Arjun Rai and Jagat Khadka of Dudh Koshi, Solukhumbu, according to SSP Uttam Raj Subedi, chief of Metropolitan Police Range. They have taken to Gaushala Police Office for further investigation.
They were allegedly involved in illegal transfer of money making a hub in a flat at Chabahil.
