Sanjay Kumar Sah of Sarpallo-2 died on the spot in a motorcyle accident at Sarpallo, Mahottari at 4 p.m. Pillion rider Hari Narayan Mahato, who was injured in the accident, has been admitted at Janakpur Zonal Hospital for treatment.
Similarly, Rajendra Mahato of Hariharpur died on the spot when a tree fell over his cart at Mahendranagar in Dhanusha, according to Unit Police Office Mahendranagar. The cart was heading for Hariharpur.
In Siraha, Lalan Thakur of Majhaura-2 died on the spot when he was hit by a tractor (Na 1 Ta 5107) at Lahan along the East-West Highway. Police have taken control of the tractor and its driver.
