KALIKOT, July 31: Three children belonging to the same family were buried in the ground and seven others injured as a bolder on Sunday fell on the house located in Ward-6 of Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality in Kalikot district.
The boulder that fell down the cliff hit part of the house belonging to the local Bunde Sarki. His two daughters-Lalita, 13 and Kalpana, 5- and one son- Lak, 9- were buried in the ground as the boulder fell on his house.
The injured encompass seven persons including his wife and his neighbor Sharmila Sarki, according to Dambar Bahadur Shahi, the chairperson of Triveni Rural Municipality.
The injured have been rushed to District Hospital. According to District Police Office, Kalikot, the team of Nepal Police and Nepal Army personnel have intensified their efforts to unearth the three children buried in the ground.
