BEJHAD, August 7: Landslide buried a canal of electricity powerhouse of Sutikhola micro-hydro power project Tinau resulting in the disruption of power supply. The incessant rain-triggered landslide buried canal in several parts forcing locals to stay in dark for the past one month.

BUTWAL, Sept 23: Three persons were killed when a landslide buried a running truck and a car at Tinau rural muncipality-3 along the Butwal-Tansen road section in the district today. A woman was injured in the accident. The landslip fell from around 500 meters at Palpa Siddhababa Temple, said the police.
KALIKOT, July 31: Three children belonging to the same family were buried in the ground and seven others injured as a bolder on Sunday fell on the house located in Ward-6 of Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality in Kalikot district.
