KATHMANDU, March 14: The Kathmandu District Court sent three persons accused in the murder of media entrepreneur Jamim Shah to judicial custody on Sunday. The court also issued arrest warrant against two others who are absconding.

Those sent to judicial custody are Prakash Chhetri, Laxman Dhamala and Kishor Khadka. Chhetri is a police sub-inspector who is alleged to have assisted in the murder scheme. Laxman and Kishor had allegedly helped the Indian criminals during their stay in the capital.

The two against who arrested warrant has been issued are former DSP Jagadish Chand and businessman Srikrishna Paudel.

The District Attorney Office Kathmandu last week had filed charge-sheet against all the five accused demanding up to 15 years of jail as per the provisions of Muluki Ain in a homicide case.
