Khanal, Dahal, MPRF signing deal Wednesday

KATHMANDU, March 23: Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal, Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (MPRF) Upendra Yadav are all set to sign an agreement Wednesday morning to pave the way for MPRF to join the government.



A source close to the prime minister said, “If every thing goes as planned, the three leaders are signing an agreement on Wednesday morning. The agreement has tried to address MPRF demands.” [break]



Meantime, the prime minister has called a meeting of the Special Committee for Wednesday morning. The meeting is expected to finalize the pending recruitments at the secretariat under the Special Committee and discuss a time table for integration and rehabilitation of Maoist combatants.



According to the source, the prime minister is floating a 50-day plan of action for management of over 19, 000 Maoist combatants.
