UNCAC ratification hailed

KATHMANDU, March 3: Transparency Nepal, Rupandehi, has welcomed the Parliament´s ratification of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC).



The ratification has paved the way to probe corruption in the government, bureaucracy, judiciary, security forces, private sector, NGOs/INGOs, civil society and parliament by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), it said.



The organization has also released a book "Corruption in Nepal".
