Film director Dipak Alok no more

KATHMANDU, April 3: Film director and writer Dipal Alok died in a hospital in the capital, Avenues TV reported Friday.



Alok, 52, was undergoing treatment for kidney ailment at Medicare Hospital, Chabahil, in the capital. He was admitted to hospital on Tuesday. Both his kidneys had failed, the channel reported.



Alok has directed Nepali movies like ´Pardeshi´ and ´Bakshis´.



He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
