Municipality Employee Association led the protest when 13 political parties--Nepali Congress, Unified CPN-Maoist, Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic), Rastriya Prajatantra Party and others except CPN-UML---padlocked Dahal’s office on Monday.
The agitating employees said the 13 parties padlocked the engineer’s chamber making unnecessary charges of financial irregularity.
The parties represented in the municipality’s political mechanism have blamed Dahal for committing financial irregularity while constructing Itahari Buspark, Kavyavatika and different projects in for the conservation of rivers and lakes.
