KAPILVASTU, August 28: A teenager has reportedly gone missing after being swept by the Bannganga river of Kapilvastu.
15 – year – old Bansi Mallah of Belbhariya of Kapilvastu municipality – 12 was swept away by the river, District Police Office, Kapilvastu said.
Mallah was trying to retrieve logs flowing in the swollen river on Sunday evening when the current swept him, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prahlad Adhikari said. A 12 – member team of the police force has been mobilized under the leadership of Inspector Sushil Thapa to search for the youth.
