DHANGHADI, June 19: A total of 249 tourists from third countries entered Nepal from 2010 till May of 2016 through the Kailai border check point.
Forty-five foreign tourists entered Nepal via the border check point in 2015, according to the Immigration Office. Similarly, 32 tourists came via the check point in 2010, 44 in 2011, 40 in 2012, 29 in 2013 and 35 in 2014 via.

Office Chief Deepak Khadka said that 24 tourists entered Nepal in first five months of 2016.
Lack of physical infrastructure for easy and luxurious stay of the tourists, failure to publicize the tourism sites, and lack of strategy to attract tourists, among others are reason behind less number of tourists visiting Nepal through the point.
Majority of the tourists coming to Nepal via the border Kalali check point were from the Australia, Japan and US. RSS
