KATHMANDU, March 12: Nepal has posted a 249-run target against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a match under the tri-series of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League-2 underway at the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepal made 248 runs in 49.2 overs losing all wickets. For the team, Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel hit the highest 77 runs off 112 balls with nine boundaries. Similarly, Aarif Sheikh contributed 43 runs off 52 balls, Gulshan Jha 37 off 31, Dipendra Singh Airee 34 off 19 and Bhim Sarki 29 off 37.

For the UAE, Aayan Afzal Khan, Zahoor Khan, Rohan Mustafa and Zawar Farid took two wickets each. Similarly, Aryan Lakra and Junaid Siddique claimed one wicket each. Now, the UAE is batting.
