KATHMANDU, April 25: As many as 23 Nepali people died of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in foreign countries last week.
According to the latest data from the Non-resident Nepali Association (NRNA), of the 23 Nepalis dying of COVID-19 in foreign lands, 20 were recorded in India alone. Similarly, two Nepali nationals in Kuwait and one in Qatar also died of COVID-19 last week.
With this, the number of Nepali people dying of COVID-19 outside of the country has reached 372.
Likewise, the COVID-19 case tally of Nepali people living abroad stands at 68,506.
