UML registers victory in Mangalsen

ACHHAM, July 2: CPN-UML has registered victory in Managlsen Municipality of Achham. With the final vote counting, Padam Bohara of UML garnered 4691 votes and has been elected as mayor. His immediate rival Chandra Prasad Dhungana of Nepali Congress scored 4553.
Likewise, Sarita Upadhyaya has been elected as deputy-mayor defeating Rohina Bhandari of CPN (Maoist-Center).
