“We are ready to agree on this after a political level discussion for the recruitment and arms procurement for continuation of the responsibility and management of peace keeping forces by Nepal Army,” Pun further added.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal briefed the committee about the four-point agreement with the Maoists.

However, the scheduled discussion to give final shape to key documents relating to plan of action on management of the combatants and code of conduct was not completed during the meeting. It was learnt that the committee will give the final shape to the documents on Thursday evening.
