Gachchhadar wants Madhesi parties-led govt

KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar said that Madhesi parties should get an opportunity to lead a government as the three major parties have failed to give a political way out.



Gachchhadar, also Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Loktantrik), said this while inaugurating the party´s training of trainers in the Capital Tuesday.[break]



He said the country has been pushed towards the danger of being a failed state as constitution-writing and peace process have been shadowed by minor issues.



The Unified CPN-Maoist has the main responsibility to institutionalise the democracy, he said, adding that Maoist party Prachanda should support other parties to fulfill the aspirations of Janaandolan II.



He said the trainers´ training is necessary to keep the party strong ideologically and structurally and urged his cadres to give up the tendency of discouraging others.



Gachchhadar, senior leader Sarat Singh Bhandari, central member Dr. Tilak Rawal, party´s training department chief Bharatendra Mallik will present concept papers on party´s ideological, economic and social policies during the three-day training.
