22 hurt in bus-truck collision

CHITWAN, Aug 17: Twenty-two passengers were injured when a Kathmandu-bound bus from Gaur collided with a truck near Khairahani along the East-West Highway in Chitwan district Tuesday night.



The injured are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Medical College, the District Police Office, Chitwan said. The mishap occurred when the speeding bus (Na 3 Kha 3520) rear-ended the truck (Na 4 Kha 5160), according to police. [break]
