KATHMANDU, June 6: The second part of House meeting has started. This part is scheduled to conduct the voting to elect 40th prime minister of Nepal
Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is the sole candidate running for the prime minister’s post.
Deuba is getting elected with over 390 votes from his own party Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Rastriya Janata Party, and Forum Loktantrik.
CPN-UML (181), Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (4), Rastriya Janamorcha (3), Nepal Pariwal Dal are likely to vote against Deuba.
