KATHMANDU, May 22: As many as 21 COVID-19 patients including the first case reported in Nepalgunj, Banke, have been discharged from hospital after recovery on Friday.
The first COVID case in Nepalgunj was a 60 years old male from Nepalgunj-7.
The discharged patients were undergoing treatment at Corona Special Hospital in Banke.

Nepalgunj had reported the first case of COVID-19 on May 1. Similarly, on May 5, 22 new cases were confirmed.
