Punto Active and Dynamic will be available in both petrol and diesel segments while Punto Emotion will be available only in diesel segment. Similarly Linea Active and dynamic will be available both in petrol and diesel segments while Linea Emotion will be available only in diesel segments.
According to Alok Josee, deputy general manager of Batas Brothers, the price of the vehicles will be higher by approximately 5 percent than the existing prices. Currently, Punto petrol segment is available in the range of Rs 2.37 million to Rs 2.56 million while Punto diesel segment is available in the range of Rs 2.79 million to Rs 2.96 million.
Similarly, Linea petrol segment is available in the range of Rs 3.2 million to Rs 3.51 million and Linea diesel segment is available in the range of Rs 3.61 to Rs 3.87 million.
The petrol segment of Punto Active and Dynamic will have 1.2 liter engine while the diesel segments will have 1.3 liter engine. Similarly, Linea Active and Dynamic will have 1.4 liter petrol engines while Linea Active, Dynamic and Emotion will have 1.3 liter engine in diesel segments.
The most visible change in the new models of Punto and the Linea is the new striking oceanic blue exterior shade that provides a distinguishable look. Fiat has also increased the ride height by 185 mm in both the cars for enhancing driver comfort and on road stability.
Radio with single CD and MP3 with 4 speakers, central door locking, seat fabric change, carpet color and central console color change are some of the added features in Punto depending upon the variant.
Similarly, radio with single CD and MP3 with 4 speakers, rain sensor, automatic head lights switch on and off, roof light with 1 light point, seat fabric and interior color change and better sound proofing for diesel segments are the added options in Linea.
According to the company, the customers will get 6 different color options for both the cars.
