200 more colleges seek TU's affiliation

KIRTIPUR, March 22: Some 200 colleges across the country have applied to the Tribhuvan University (TU) seeking the country´s largest and oldest university´s affiliation for commencing classes in various subjects under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.



The applications are for running classes of the Bachelors and Masters Levels after the TU called for new applications beginning mid February, according to Chinta Mani Pokhrel, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the TU. [break]



He said affiliation would be provided after inspecting the physical infrastructures of the colleges concerned.



A total of 32 subjects are being taught at Bachelors and Masters levels under the TU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
