Locals said 14 families of Eselukharka and seven families of Jaleshwori VDCs have been displaced due to the floods and landslides caused by the incessant rainfall.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Basanta Kumar Thapa the families of Tika Ram Puri, Pahal Man Puri, Kalu Man Puri, Ram Sher Puri, Ganesh Puri including others were displaced and property worth millions was destroyed after their houses were swept away by the landslides in Eselukharka VDC.
Similarly, the families of Laxman BK, Ambar Bahadur Katawal of Jaleshwori-2 and Srijana Rai and Muga Dhan Rai of ward no. 7 of the VDC were displaced after their houses were swept away.
Police said the entire village is at risk of landslide and property worth million was damaged.
