The deceased are Udit Narayan Pant, 26, of Bhimdatta Mucipality-3, and an Indian national Anand Singh. Pant died on the spot and Singh died while being taken to Sewa Nursing Home in Attariya, Kailali, police said.
The two were riding on a motorcycle when a bus (Na 3 Kha 760) heading to Dhangadhi from Bhimdattanagar hit their vehicle near Laljhadi forest in Krishnapur VDC.
Police have arrested the bus driver Tirtharaj Padal, 30, of Jadepani, Daiji-6 and also seized the bus and the motorcycle.
