2,000 Grand i10 sold in 18 months

KATHMANDU, Aug 27: More than 2,000 units of Grand i10 have been sold in Nepali market within 18 months of the launch of the hatchback, according to Laxmi Intercontinental -- the authorized distributor of Hyundai vehicles for Nepal.



Issuing a press release, officials of Laxmi Intercontinental said the Grand i10 was launched to meet the expectations of customers whose preference lies between i10 and i20.

"Grand i10 is powered by 1.2 kappa dual VTVT petrol engine with manual transmission. It has features like dual airbags; reverse parking assists system, and reinforced body structure," the release added.


Celebrating the success of Grand i10, Rupesh Sharma Bhatta, assistant general manager, Sales and Marketing of Laxmi InterContinental said, "We have once again delivered exceptional value to our customers at a time when the automobile market is extremely competitive."
