HANGZHOU (CHINA), Sept 29: The Nepali team playing the PUBG Mobile event entered the second stage in the PUBG Mobile's Peace Elite competition in the ongoing 19th Asian Games.
In the first stage of the game played at Hangzhou Sports Centre on Thursday, the Nepali players secured the second position in the group 'C' making their entry into the second round. South Korea has topped the group.
Nepal, Mongolia, South Korea and Vietnam are in the group 'C'.
In the PUBG event, Nepal played in 52 minutes 20.28 seconds while South Korea completed the same in 47 minutes 28.46 seconds.
With this win, Nepal made it to the quarterfinals.
The teams playing PUBG have been divided into four groups. Nepal would play on Friday in the second round. From the second round, eight best teams would enter the third round.
Earlier, Hong Kong from group 'A', Chinese Taipei from group 'B' and Indonesia from group 'D' have entered the second round.
