RATNAGAGAR, Chitwan, Oct 8: A motorcyclist died after being hit by a tractor at Shanti chowk of Ratnanagar Sunday monring.
Manoj Kumar Pokharel,55, of Rapti municipality-7 died in the road accident involving the motorcycle (Na. 16 Pa. 7931) he was riding, according to Chitwan Police. The motorcycle on its way to Bharatpur from east Chitwan was hit by a tractor (Na. 3 Ta. 3345) heading toward the same direction.

Pokharel succumbed to his injuries in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College, Superintendent of Police Dipak Thapa said.
The tractor has been impounded while its driver taken into custody for necessary action.
