NOC said the supply from Raxaul has increased to 2,100 kiloliters from Thursday. The IOC had curtailed supply to 1,200 kiloliters a day since Sunday.

NOC Spokesperson Mukunda Prasad Sharma Dhungel said the supply will ease by Sunday. He said the NOC will suffer Rs 100 million losses this month due to rise in petroleum prices in the international markets.

He said the cabinet on Wednesday had decided to provide Rs 80 million to NOC but it has not been released so far. He said the supply could be increased once the government releases the money.
