Family members said Ashish was kidnapped from near Pakherapalichowk located close to his house at around 8:30 pm. Family members came to know about the kidnapping after Ashish did not return home till late in the night, his grandfather Patwari Baniya said. [break]
Ashish is a fifth grader at Little Angels Secondary School, Parasi. His family has appealed to all for his safe release.
The cell phone (97278845450) that Ashish was carrying has been switched off since the kidnapping. It is suspected that he has been taken to India.
District Police Office said it came to know about the kidnapping on Monday.
