The combatant has been identified as Sher Bahadur Pun, a section commander at the PLA´s Dahaban cantonments in Rolpa.
Pun was coming to Baglung in a public bus and was arrested at Maldhunga checkpoint, the entry point to Baglung district.
Pun said that he reached there to provide security to Hemanta Prakash Oli, a politburo member of the UCPN (Maoist). He further said that he came from Parvat after providing security to Oli.
