KATHMANDU, April 29: Nepal Police’s 18 SPs have been recommended for promotion to SSP. The promotion recommendation committee recommended them on Friday. The first in the promotion list is Bishwa Adhikari, second is Bhupendra Khatri and third is Sanuram Bhattarai.

In 2056 BS, Adhikari was recommended for promotion from among those named as police inspector. According to the list of promotion recommendations, Om Adhikari is fourth, Shekhar Khanal is fifth, Abhi Kafle is sixth and Somendra Singh Rathore is seventh position.

Similarly, Mukund Marasini is ranked eighth, Dip SJB Rana is ranked ninth, Bel Pandey is ranked tenth, Dinesh Mainali is ranked 11th, Gopal Chandra Bhattarai is ranked 12th, Prabin Pokharel is ranked 13th, Ganga Pant is ranked 14th and Krishna Bahadur Pallimar is ranked 15th. Similarly, Bishwamani Pokharel, Tara Devi Thapa and Prajwal Maharjan are ranked 16th, 17th and 18th respectively.
