TANAHU, Dec 17: At least 18 passengers were injured when a bus traveling from Mugling to Pokhara met with an accident at Byas Municipality-12 Kamalabari in Tanahun today.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bahadur Khand, the bus (Ga 2 Kha 1459) fell down the road while overtaking a tipper truck.

The injured are Asima Shahi, 10 , of Tanahun Bhanu Municipality -1 Sajbote, Sabita Sunar , 21, of Bhanu Municipality-3Chambas, Sabina Sunar, 19, Pradeep Godar, 30, of Morang Kateri Rural Municipality-2.
Similarly, Suran Rai, 40, of Bhojpur Temkemaiyung Rural Municipality -9 Hillekharka, Pillimaya Thapa, 34, of Byas Municipality -2, Gyanadevi Shrestha, 52, of Bandipur Rural Municipality -1 and Sneha Shrestha, 20, Angel Bhattarai, 21, of Byas Municipality -2 , Purna Bahadur Gurung, 41, of Chimkeshwari -5 of Anbu Khaireni Rural Municipality were also injured.
Likewise, Babita Thapa, 26, of Bhanu Municipality -1 Sajhbote, Nabin Thapa, 30, Durga Thapa,12, Nabina Thapa, 7, Deepa Thapa, 40, of Byas Municipality -2 Dangre Kholsi, Sumitra Rai, 50, of Bhojpur Temke Meinung Rural Municipality- 9 Hillekharka , Junu Bhattarai, 36, and Purnima Bhattarai , 8 , of Mulpani, Byas Municipality- 11 were injured in the accident.
According to police, 10 of the injured are being treated at Damauli Hospital and eight are being treated at Pokhara Manipal Teaching Hospital.
