A patrol team of the Armed Police Force (APF) under the command of Assistant Sub-Inspector Devan Chaudhari rescued 35-year-old Pratham Saha of Lahan Municipality-6 from the captivity of the abductors at local Balankhola on Tuesday night. [break]
An unidentified group had abducted Saha when he had gone to drink water from a tap. Saha owns a shop at local Naya Bazaar.
Meanwhile, Gumasta Yadav, a 15-year-old boy who was abducted by an unidentified group on Monday evening has been found 24 hours after his abduction. The Ward Police Office, Lahan said Yadav was found in the forest at Dhodhana VDC-3 on Tuesday evening.
Two abductors have been arrested and the remaining abductors have also been identified, according to police.
