“Since Maoists are under attack in many places, it is our compulsion to strike back daringly. Thus, the training is underway,” he said addressing a press meet organised by Revolutionary Journalists’ Association, Itahari branch, on Wednesday.[break]
He also acknowledged that Maoists have set focus on launching an urban-centered massive movement and seize state power.
Though we have friendship with the Indian Maoists, we have differences, he said. “Our party has reached to a conclusion that India is not assisting Nepal to establish long-lasting peace here.”
He reiterated that massive public pressure is required for timely constitution and added that the Maoists will do the needful from the streets and parliament for promulgation of the new constitution.
