16 temples opened for visitors

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has thrown open 16 different temples situated in the Hanumandhoka Durbar Square complex to the general public and visitors. These temples were not opened for the public until now.



The temples opened for viewing by the public and visitors are the Krishna Mahabishnu Temple, the Mahabishnu Temple, the Jagannath Temple, the Bishweshwar Mahadev Temple, the Degu Taleju Temple, the Nil Barahi Temple, the Gorakhnath Baba Pau shrine, the Kalbhairav Temple, the Shree Bishnu Temple, the Hanuman Swetbhairav Temple, the Kotilingeshwar Mahadev Temple, the Thulo Nahgara, the Kaheshwar Mahadev, Saraswati, Nawayoginimai, the Shiva Parvati Temple and the Radhakrishna Temple.[break]



Chief Executive Officer of KMC, Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, said the temples will be open from 7 to 11.30 a.m.
