BABIYACHAUR (Myagdi), July 22: Some 16 suspension bridges have been constructed in mountainous district, Myagdi, this year at the total cost of around Rs 55 million.
Additional two suspension bridges are under construction and other 11 have been repaired, said the Myagdi District Development Committee.
As many as 46,500 people from around 7,000 households have been benefitted from the suspension bridges constructed in the district, according to the DDC.
In the fiscal year 2072-73, some 16 suspension bridges have been constructed at the cost of around Rs 54.45 million and 80 per cent of the construction works of two suspension bridges has been completed, shared DDC's Sub Engineer Bal Krishna Poudel. RSS
