BAJURA, Police have arrested 16 leaders and cadres of outlawed Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplab’-led Nepal Communist Party from Majhpali of Gaumul rural municipality-3.
A team of police deployed from District Police Office, Bajure led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Uddhav Singh Bhat detained the leaders and cadres including central committee member Chuda Mani Oli and district committee member Damm Sunar. “We have also recovered some important party dossiers from the arrestees,” informed DSP Bhat.
Acting on a tip-off, police held them while they were entering Majhpali of Bajura via Kota of Bajhang.
Police informed that they have launched an investigation after the arrest.
