SURKHET, June 15: Karnali Province has allocated Rs 1.16 billion for the Chief Minister's Employment Program.
Finance Minister Mahendra KC introduced the program while presenting the budget of the province for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2024/25.

Minister KC said that the Chief Minister's Employment Program will cover all wards across the province.
"We anticipate that around 16,000 unemployed people will find partial employment opportunities through this program," Minister KC stated. However, questions have been raised about the program's effectiveness.
