155 poll stations listed as highly sensitive

RAUTHAT (REPUBLICA): Chief District Administration Officer of Rauthat district Dil Bahadur Ghimire has revealed that 115 polling stations have been listed as highly sensitive, 77 as sensitive and 62 polling stations as normal, from the security point of view.



Ghimire has said that the government is prepared to hold the polls in free and fair manner as they have launched "unified security plan" in the district. He added that the security plan is aimed at holding the polls peacefully. [break]



He further said that they have deployed 2,512 staffs from the Nepal Police and temporary police, more than 1000 Armed Police Force staff, and 350 Nepal Army soldiers to tackle unlawful activities.



The number polling stations at the six constituencies of the district stands at 257.
