The report prepared by Blue Diamond Society, an organisation working for LGBT, says 150 are third gender out of the total LGBT population.
More and more LGBTs are coming into the Society´s fold after it started actively working in the district by establishing its branch office at Parasi Bazaar and spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS and human rights, said Society´s employee Santosh Poudel.
The Society has been mobilizing 10 LGBTs as "friend teachers" in several parts of Nawalparasi.
