The traffic was obstructed by the relatives of a man killed in a road accident.[break]
Demanding compensation, kin of Santa Bahadur Adhikari (45) who was knocked down to death by a tanker on Friday night blocked vehicles at Aabukhaireni.
The prolonged traffic disruption prompted security personnel to use force and 15 were hurt in the police action.
Police Inspector Birendra Thapa said the injured are being treated at a local hospital.
