"The board has decided to issue licenses to the volunteer coaches since the existing human resource at NSC is inadequate for conducting training and coaching programs all over the country," secretary of the board Tilak Bahadur Rawat said in a press statement issued by NSC.
Twenty-seven volunteer coaches each of athletics, table tennis and wushu, 17 of kabaddi and 13 of handball received the license. Likewise, NSC issued licenses to nine coaches of wrestling, seven each of shooting and weightlifting and four coaches of badminton.
