KATHMANDU, March 21: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 137.90, while the selling rate stands at Rs 138.50. On Thursday, the buying rate of the US dollar was Rs 138.02, and the selling rate was Rs 138.82.
The buying rate of one euro is Rs 149.52, and the selling rate is Rs 150.17. Similarly, one UK Pound Sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 178.68 and a selling rate of Rs 179.46. The Swiss Franc has been set at Rs 156.48 for buying and Rs 157.16 for selling.
For other currencies, one Australian dollar is valued at Rs 86.69 for buying and Rs 87.07 for selling, while the Canadian dollar is at Rs 95.87 for buying and Rs 96.28 for selling. The Singapore Dollar has been set at Rs 103.28 for buying and Rs 103.73 for selling.
Pound, Singapore Dollar and Australian Dollar strengthen

Meanwhile, 10 Japanese yen is being traded at Rs 9.29 for buying and Rs 9.33 for selling. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 19.04, and the selling rate is Rs 19.12. One Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs 36.76 for buying and Rs 36.92 for selling, while one Qatari riyal is set at Rs 37.83 for buying and Rs 37.99 for selling.
Similarly, the buying rate of one Thai Baht is Rs 4.09, and the selling rate is Rs 4.10. The UAE dirham has been set at Rs 37.54 for buying and Rs 37.71 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 31.16 for buying and Rs 31.29 for selling.
The South Korean Won (100 units) is valued at Rs 9.40 for buying and Rs 9.44 for selling. The Swedish krone has been set at Rs 13.54 for buying and Rs 13.60 for selling, while the Danish krona is at Rs 20.04 for buying and Rs 20.13 for selling.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 17.74 for buying and Rs 17.82 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 447.67 for buying and Rs 449.62 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar is at Rs 365.81 for buying and Rs 367.40 for selling. The Omani Riyal has been set at Rs 358.19 for buying and Rs 359.74 for selling. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time if necessary. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
