JHAPA, March 12: Police have arrested five members of the Limbuwan Kirant Sangharsh Samiti in Jhapa, who stopped the riders and tried to take the keys of their vehicles.
The protestors gathered in the square of Jhapa from early in the morning and closed the market. District Police Office, Jhapa said that those who are found involved in violent activities will be arrested.

The Limbuwan, Kirat Sangharsh Samiti has called for a general strike in Province 1 on Sunday, protesting against the decision to name province 1 as Koshi province.
Different ethnic organizations have been holding a series of protests since a week ago arguing that the province had been named as Koshi to erase their identity.
