KATHMANDU, Jan 19: Chief whip of the Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party, Ramesh Lekhak has said that the government cannot be apathetic toward the House of Representatives, absolute toward the victims' families and deviate from its duty toward the people.
He said so in the meeting of the House of Representatives on Thursday. He said, "The government cannot be apathetic toward the House, absolute toward the victims' families and averse to its duty toward the people."

On January 15, a Yeti Air flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara crashed in Seti gorge near the Pokhara Regional International Airport, killing 72 people.
Lekhak said that the government has formed a 5-member inquiry committee to investigate the plane crash and the committee is expected to submit its study report within its specified time.
